D-PE or PVDF composite sheet ?
What is the difference of D-PE or PVDF composite sheet ?
This should be stated for D-PE or PVDF composite sheet
D-PE composite sheets can be used for interior facades and PVDF composite sheets can be used for exterior facades.
With the growth of technology, new materials that have not existed before have entered the field
One of the most common of these is a combination of aluminum and excellent materials and various minerals, called composite panels.
One of the outstanding features of the composite facade is its lightness for the building.
Decreasing the weight of the building reduces the base shear force and thus reduces the seismic force in structural calculations.
As a result, structural elements are designed to be more economical and efficient
In addition to reducing the damage caused by earthquakes, it makes structural sections lighter.
Aluminum Composite facade :
Also, a metal frame is installed in the building to make aluminum composite sheets, which cannot be ignored as a good effect between the frames.
Between the frames are the outer and inner walls of the building, which act as steel separators in the steel and concrete structures.
And they can be effective in increasing the lateral stiffness of the structure.
Since each square meter of aluminum composite sheet weighs only about 5 kg, this material is considered a lightweight building material.
Composite sheet is 90% lighter than cement, 70% lighter than glass and 50% lighter than ordinary aluminum sheet.
It is also resistant to climate change, UV rays and strong acidic and alkaline conditions, pollution, corrosion and paleness.
And for many years, without change, it retains its physical and technical properties.
Its flexibility is excellent and it can be deformed to any shape. It is sound, heat, moisture and electromagnetic insulation.
And it can be easily changed if needed.
Speed in facade implementation, variety of colors and use in large dimensions are the advantages of this product.
For the reasons mentioned above, in recent years, the most appropriate and available solution for modernizing the facade of old buildings and transferring a new effect to it, is to use composite panel sheets.
Aluminum Composite sheet :
Aluminum composite sheet composition is a material made of two layers of aluminum and a layer of polyethylene or polystyrene plastic.
These three layers are joined together with polymer glue.
The thickness of the two layers of alumina is equal and does not increase between 3, 0 to 5, 0 mm.
The dimensions of this product can be very variable, but the most common size can be estimated at 3200 by 12500 square millimeters.
In this type of facade, a layer of composite sheet is applied on the surface of the facade.
It has the ability to accept different colors and designs
And depending on the type of use of the interior or exterior, different resins are applied on it.
The back layer also has a polyester paint layer.
Aluminum composite sheets can also be made in the form of all kinds of stones and wood.
Types of Aluminum Composite :
- D-PE composite panel
- PVDF composite panel
- Nano-PVDF composite panel
D-PE composite panel
The easiest way to apply paint is on an aluminum layer.
In this method, the paint is applied on the aluminum layer without any protective layer.
This type of sheet is vulnerable to weather conditions and sunlight, so it is better to use this sheet indoors, such as interior decoration and interior facade.
PVDF composite panel
It is a type of coating that protects the color of the surface of the sheet due to its polymer layer and fluorescent element
And resistant to weather conditions, sunlight, acidic conditions.
Before the PVDF resin is applied to the surface of the aluminum sheet, a layer of polyurethane liner is applied on the sheet and then the paint layer is added to it.
Nano-PVDF composite panel
In this coating, in addition to the layer used in PVDF, a third layer is applied on PVDF resin, which is different from normal gold in terms of molecular structure.
The molecular distance in this coating is reduced by nanotechnology.
As a result, the sheet does not absorb environmental contaminants such as dust and oil particles suspended in space.
